Malnutrition in rural Guatemala is high, and rising since the introduction of monocropping for export among family farmers.  

 

Asociación Mujeres Oxlajuj E, located in El Tablón, Sololá is working to combat this in their communities, and take a stand against GMO contamination of local seeds and biodiversity.
